I made this last night for dinner. It was so simple and delicious, I definitely recommend it. Perfect for an afternoon snack, dinner, or appetizer for a summer bbq! Simple, quick, and delicious!


What you need…

  • 2 Tomatoes
  • Sliced day old Italian loaf
  • One small onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • EVOO
  • S&P
  • Italian Seasoning
  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Place slices of day old Italian bread on a non stick baking dish
  3. Give bread a quick coating of EVOO
  4. Chop up your onion and garlic
  5. Place even amounts of onion and garlic on each slice
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of onion and garlic mixture
  7. Slice up tomatoes and place 1-2 slices on top of cheese
  8. S&P and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning
  9. Cook for 10 minutes
